Earl J. Latiolais

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Earl J. Latiolais, 84, who died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Latiolais, Landon Meaux, Trent Myers, Mark Harson, Vince Latiolais and Coty Richard.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wanda Greene Latiolais of Kaplan; one son, Glenn Latiolais and his wife, Jessica of Meaux; two daughters, Sheryl Myers of Kaplan and Jan Hargrave of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Jolene Harson of Lafayette, Jeanise Meyers of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jason Latiolais of Abbeville, Julee and Trent Myers of Kaplan and Landon Meaux of Meaux; and six great grandchildren, Kristi and Bailey Harson, Trevor Delahoussaye, Tyler Meyers, Jax Latiolais and Tyson Meyers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand Latiolais and the former Olite Vincent; and one brother, Raymond Latiolais.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, March 12, from 10 a.m. until services.
