Joseph "T-Pierce" Lemaire

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Joseph "T-Pierce" Linus Lemaire, 84, who died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at his son's residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Vermilion Honor Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Eshter R. Lemaire of Kaplan; one son, Carl Lemaire and his wife, Kathleen of Kaplan; one daughter, Geraldine L. Bearb of Kaplan; one brother, Clifford Lemaire of Metairie; one sister, Della Trahan of New Orleans; one stepbrother, Stacy Suire of Kaplan; one half-sister, Priscilla Campisi of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jenisus Lemaire and the former Odile Hargrave; two brothers, Ray Lemaire and Kerney Lemaire Sr.; and two sisters, Audrey Lemaire and Deloris Lemaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, March 23, from 9 a.m. until services.
