Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Roger Bourque, 48, who died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Leger, Marcus Gaspard, Todd LeBlanc, Joey Guidry, Wade Istre and Noah Stoute.

He is survived by his parents, Jessie Bourque and Leannie Lemaire Bourque of Kaplan; one brother, Randall Bourque of Kaplan; three sisters, Nancy and her husband, Todd Leger of Kaplan, Diana Hebert of Jennings and Janice and her husband, Marcus Gaspard of Abbeville; nieces, Sydney Hebert and Anne-Marie Hebert, both of Jennings; nephew, Zachary Gaspard of Abbeville; and godchild, Jacob Leger of Kaplan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.; Tuesday, March 23, from 8 a.m. until services.
