Goldie Marie Broussard

December 25, 1954 — March 25, 2010

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Goldie Marie Broussard, 55, who died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Kevin Broussard, Elliot Broussard, Michael Demarcay, Cory Touchet, Troy Buteau and Damion Comeaux.

She is survived by her husband, Bradly Broussard of Perry; two daughters, Denaise Choate and friend Michael Demarcay of Erath and Donna Choate and friend Cory Touchet of Abbeville; brother, James Broussard of New Iberia; brother-in-law, John Morvant of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Kyle, Cain, Landon, Kennedi and Aiden and four step grandchildren, Gaige, Gaven, Mackenzie and Graham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcel and Lelia LeBlanc Broussard; sister, Shirley Morvant; and sister-in-law, Brenda Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
