David George Broussard Sr.

July 16, 1944 — April 5, 2010

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at St. John Catholic Church in Henry honoring the life of David George Broussard Sr, 65, who died Monday, April 5, 2010 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Michael Delcambre officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Broussard of Erath; a son David Broussard, Jr. and wife Kellie of Broussard; two daughters, Darlene "Sissy" Menard and husband Terran "Pet-o" of Erath and Ann B. Nerren of Erath; mother, Ruth Broussard; two stepsons, Robert John Gaspard, Jr. and Noel of Vincent, AL and Gregory George Gaspard and wife Wendy of Austin, TX; three brother, John S. Broussard, Sr. wife Bonnie of Erath; Rueben Broussard and wife Joyce of Abbeville and Tom Broussard and wife Angle of Lafayette; and grandchildren, Erica Menard, Trent David Menard, Alexis Paige Nerren, Jayden Paul Broussard, Lauren Elizabeth Broussard and Donovan Willis Gaspard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert George Broussard; and a brother, Jerry Bellamy.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends. We love you Daddy!

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
