Ada Simon Meaux

February 3, 1912 — April 17, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ada Simon Meaux, 98, who died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by three grandsons, Donald Gallet and his wife, Betty of Port Arthur, Texas, Randall Gallet of Nederland, Texas and Dale Gallet and his wife, Janice of Beaumont, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Ephelia Simon Monic of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odeon Meaux; one daughter, Stuna Marie Meaux; parents, Arthur Simon and Marguerite Simon; three brothers; and six sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, April 19, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, April 20, from 8 a.m. until services.
