Beulah Breaux Moore
September 6, 1913 — April 22, 2010
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jason Meaux, Ryan Richard, Hayes Boudreaux, Louis Bellaire, Keith Domingue and Johnny Toups.
Beulah was loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. She was a devout member of the Lay Carmalites.
She is survived by her two sons, Alvin L. Moore and his wife, Mary of Abbeville and Eugene J. Moore and his wife, Romona of Youngsville; two granddaughters, Christine Meaux and her husband, Jason of Nunez and Allison Richard and her husband, Ryan of Erath; four great grandchildren, Amy, Holly, Cory and Matthew and one on the way; and one sister, Rosalee "Nan Sue" Escuriex of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elie Moore; and parents, Eugene Breaux and the former Ella; three step sisters and one step brother.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, April 23, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of Heart Hospice for their kindness, compassion and gentle care given to their mother at her time of need. Also the family would like to thank her sitters, Geraldine Boudreaux and Jackie Theall for the loving care and attention they provdied to their mother.
