Barbara Nell Arceneaux Duhon

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, April 26, 2010 at a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Barbara Nell Arceneaux Duhon, 60, who died Friday, April 23, 2010 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers include James Kelly Crabtree, Kasey Crabtree, Jasper Crabtree, Jody Arceneaux, Kevin Simon and Philip Daniel.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Duhon of Maurice; a daughter, Donna Crabtree and husband James Kelly of Cantonment, Fl; three grandchildren, Kelli, Kasey and Jasper Crabtree all of Cantonment, Fl; and a sister, Edna Stelly and husband Leon of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andrus Arceneaux, Sr.; mother, Odile Quebodeaux Arceneaux; brothers, Kermit Arceneaux and Andrus Arceneaux, Jr.; and sisters, Laura Arceneaux and Debbie Arceneaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m., the family will reopen on Monday, April 26, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Acadiana and a special thanks to Julia, Louise, Vanessa, Nancy, Yvette and Carolyn.
