Shelia Broussard

September 8, 1955 — April 28, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Glad Tiding Church honoring the life of Shelia Broussard, 54, who died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Steve Delino officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Terry Broussard of Kaplan; two sons, Cody Broussard and his wife, Betsy of Kaplan and Rixey Broussard and his wife, Wendy of Cow Island; her mother, Joyce Broussard of Forked Island; two brothers, Mitchell Broussard of Meaux and Wendel Broussard of Nunez; one sister, Peggy Petry of Nunez; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Broussard; and one brother, Craig Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Thursday, April 29, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. when the procession departs for the church.
