KAPLAN- Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11,2006 at a 2:00 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Marie "Delores" Hymel, 57, who died September 10, 2006 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Leroy Community Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Troy Doucet, Todd Doucet, John Simon, Randy Schexnaider, Chad Dartez and Willie Hymel. Delores was the past president of the American Legion Unit #29 for 10 years. She is survived by her husband, Willie Hymel, Jr. of Abbeville; mother, Ella Marie Faulk Guidry; two sons, Troy Doucet and her wife Sheila of Abbeville and Todd Doucet and his wife Amanda of Gueydan; one daughter, Trisha Doucet of Meaux; one step son, Willie Hymel; three step daughters, Veronica Kleinpeter of Leroy, Christina Hymel of Thibodaux and Johanna Hymel of Opelousas; one brother, Floyd Guidry and his wife Beulah of Meaux; and one sister Mrs. Karo (Nally) Simon of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Lacey, Cody, Tori, Brodie, and Kylie; and ten step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Percy Louis Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Monday, September 11 th from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday. September 12th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
