Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Jacob Lynn Lormand, 32, who died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Farley Painter officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Lonnie Aubé, Randy Aubé, Ricky Aubé, Kory Aubé, Danny Aubé and Sandy Lormand.

He is survived by his mother, Hildes Aubé Anders of Kaplan; stepfather, David Joe Anders of Kaplan; his father, Christopher Lormand of Kaplan; two daughters, Emily and Lindsay Lormand, both of Abbeville; and two brothers, Shane LeBlanc and his wife, Reneé of Scott and Brady Lormand of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alexander Aubé and the former Odile Demette; paternal grandparents, Stafford Lormand and the former Annette Trahan; and one uncle, Louis Aubé.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Friday, May 14, from 8 a.m. until services.
