Michael "Mike" Suire

January 19, 1962 — May 20, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Michael Dale Suire, 48, who died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his residence. Reverend David Broussard will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sandy Suire of Forked Island; one son, Nicholas Suire and his wife, Trish of Forked Island; one daughter, Shanna Lynn Suire and her fiance, Quan Tran of Forked Island; his parents, Dewey Suire and the former Alva-Jane Trahan of Forked Island; one brother, James Suire of Anchorage, Alaska; three sisters, Mable Constantine of Forked Island, Bertha Harrington of Forked Island and Sadie Palmatier of Anchorage, Alaska; and one grandchild, Kayleigh Suire of Forked Island.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mayo Suire Sr. and the former Louise Rung; maternal grandparents, Authur Trahan and the former Adia Fontenot.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, May 23, from 10 a.m. until services at 1 p.m.
