Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Lucy Bourque Vincent, 97, who died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Jeff Davis Living Center, LLC. She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Noah Langley officiating the services.

She is survived by four sisters, Zulmae Coudroy of New Iberia, Edia Ivey of Port Arthur, Texas, Lawrence Walker of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Annie Mae Durkes of Abbeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabry Vincent; her parents, Ophelias Bourque and the former Marie Primeaux; one sister, Cecil Bourque Vincent; and three brothers, Genius, Loadis and Obrey Bourque.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 10 a.m. until services.
