Dominica "Millie" Catalano Pere'

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2010 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Dominica Catalano Pere', 84, who died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Kaplan Healthcare Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

Dominicia was a member of the St. Anne's Ladies Altar Society, Ladies Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and The Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

She is survived by her two sons, John Pere' and his wife Sherry and Allen Pere' and his wife Kim all of Houston; grandchildren, Rachel Sonnier and her husband Baine, Joseph Pere' and fiance, Stephanie Teter, Elizabeth Pere', Adrienne Pere', Ryan Pere' and Keith Labhart; one great grandchild, Cohen Sonnier; one brother, Phillip Catalano of Gonzales; and one sister, Josephine Gendron of LaPlace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pere'; parents, Michael Catalano and the former Congetta Pecorara; one son, Harold Pere'; and siblings, Josephine Catalano, Michael Catalano, Sam Catalano, Guy Catalano, Mary Damico and Katie Barcia.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, May 28, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
