Edward Dale Meaux

October 28, 1963 — May 25, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2010 at a 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Edward Dale Meaux, 46, who died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Jason Vidrine officiating the services.

He is survived by one brother, Brian Meaux of Lafayette; two sisters, Nona and her husband, Troy Marceaux of Kaplan and Lisa Meaux of Kaplan; two nephews, Carlos and Casey Meaux; three nieces, Monique Marceaux, Tosha and Eleni Meaux; one great niece, Paige Meaux; one great nephew, Jayden Meaux; and his godchild, Bridget Scanlan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Meaux and the former Mary Lou Hargrave; and one brother, Carroll Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, May 28, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for church.
