Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mazie Vincent Bourque, 92, who died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Harbor View Care Center in League City, Texas. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Bourque, David Crow, Autry Duhon, Richard Abshire, Leon Broussard and Benny Richard.
She is survived by one son, Gerald Bourque and his wife, Margaret of Houston, Texas; one grandson, Michael Bourque and his wife, Ashlynn of Richardson, Texas; two granddaughters, Deborah and her husband, David Crow of Houston, Texas and Sarah and her husband, Kevin Walters of Denver, Colorado; three great grandsons, Cameron and Kyle Bourque and Brayden Crow; and twin great granddaughters, Kendall and Phoebe Crow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clenes Bourque; and five sisters, Elore V. Vincent, Gladys V. Broussard, Euna V. Roy, Larfae V. Abshire and Eunice V. Richard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.; Friday, June 4, from 10 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
