Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2006 at a 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 607 S. Bailey Street honoring the life of Earline Harris, 62, who died September 25, 2006 . She will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend E.J. Guidry officiating the services. She is survived by three sons, Rodney Dwayne Harris, Sr., Shawn Keith Harris and Dimitri Harris; six daughters, Aquanette Hardy, Marvelette Briggs, Shantell Bessard, Felicia Williams, Carlylise Gill and Jennifer Harris; three brothers, Floyd Harris, Sr., Roy Harris and James Harris, Jr.; two sisters, Adel Nolan and Merlene LeBlanc; nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harris, Sr. and the former Mariah Matthews; one brother, Lloyd Harris; two sisters, Mary Mitchell and Alberta Harris; and one grandson, Wayne Briggs, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Macedonia Baptist Church, 607 S. Bailey Street, Abbeville, Saturday, September 30th from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
