Kenneth Ray Richard

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at St. Paul Cemetery honoring the life of Kenneth Ray Richard, 55, who died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Dave McClanahan officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Briggum Richard of Kaplan; one son, Jason Leopold Richard and his wife Linda of Payen, AR; one step daughter, Sue Sanford of Abbeville; two brothers, Ovielle Richard, Jr. of Sunset and Shelton Richard of Vatican; one sister, Racie Cormier of Rayne; one grandson, Logan Farr; two great granddaughters, Shawna Ford and Kennadie Ford; and two step granddaughters, Katie Lynn Trahan and Amber Paige Trahan both of Abbeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ovielle Richard and the former Ella Miller; one daughter, Amanda Richard; one son, Kenneth Richard, Jr.; one sister, Barbara Gautreaux; one brother, Travis Richard; and his first wife, Therese St. Pierre.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
