Aleah Abshire

September 28, 1986 — June 4, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Aleah Christene Abshire, 23, who died Friday, June 4, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Farley Painter officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Cullen D. Abshire; her parents, Cary "Garre" and Christene Abshire; one brother, Seth Abshire and his fiancee, Tara Aucoin; maternal grandmother, Beverly S. Roche; paternal grandmother, Shirley Mae Abshire; and maternal great grandmother, Lillie R. Suire, all of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Doris Roche; paternal grandfather, Ovelton Abshire; uncles, Timmy Abshire and Jeremy Roche; her cousin, Brandon Abshire; paternal great grandparents, Joe and Edmay Campbell; and maternal great grandfather, Ovey Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 9 a.m. until services.
