Mabel Marie Broussard

December 3, 1936 — June 11, 2010

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Mabel Marie Broussard, 73, who died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Broussard Sr., Ronnie Broussard Jr., Blake Cormier, Ricky Cormier, Leroy Courville, Senac Louviere, Honorary Pallbearer will be Garrett Broussard.

She is survived by her husband; Robert "Bobby" Broussard Jr., of Abbeville; son; Gerry Broussard and wife Cynthia, of Katy TX; daughter; Becky Cormier and husband Ricky, of Abbeville; four grandchildren Blake Cormier, Kelly Cormier, Elizabeth Broussard, and Garrett Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joesph Courville and Lillian Poirier Courville.

Mable was a bookkeeper and a real estate agent. She also enjoyed genealogy research in her spare time. She was a generous and loving wife, parent and grandparent. Her Family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Eastridge Nursing Home for their care.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. untill 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m.
The funeral home will reopen Monday June 14, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. untill time of service
