Weddley Joseph Meaux

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2010 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Weddley Joseph Meaux, 82, who died Friday, June 18, 2010 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

He is survived by one a son, W. Wayne Meaux and his wife, Carolyn of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Diane Meaux Broussard and her husband, Jim of Abbeville and Jennifer Meaux of Austin, TX; two brothers, Harold Meaux and his wife, Ann of Meaux, Dunice Lee Meaux and his wife, Janell of Meaux; a sister, Jocelyn Faulk and her husband, Carroll of Meaux; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr and Mrs. Willie Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
