Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006, at Vincent Funeral Home for Scott Dale Richard, 38, of Abbeville who died Friday, October 6, 2006 in Erath.
Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Chris Mouton officiating.
He is survived by his fiancée, Mirian Connors and her daughter Bethany; his father, Charles Russell Richard; step-mother, Debra Richard; brother, Kirk Richard and wife Julie and their children, Landon and Bryce; one sister, Angela R. Broussard and husband Randall and their children, Blake, Courtney and Ali; and two step brothers, Shane and Chet Stelly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Simon Richard.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home 209 South Saint Charles, Abbeville, Saturday October 7, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday October 8, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home.
