She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Rev. William Blanda officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Chris Gary, Dale Broussard, Christian Broussard, Colby Broussard, Cale Broussard and Christopher Gary, II.
Lectors will be her grandchildren, Cale Broussard and Jillian G. Trahan.
Raccy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also was an avid cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Russell S. Gary of Abbeville; one son, Chris D. Gary and his wife Janice of Maurice; one daughter, Cheryl G. Broussard and her husband, Dale of Abbeville; grandchildren, Christian Broussard, Colby Broussard, Cale Broussard, Christopher Dale Gary, II and Jillian G. Trahan; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Broussard, Alexa Broussard, Colin Broussard, Aiden Broussard, Ryder Broussard, Cooper Trahan and Griffen Trahan; five brothers, Conrad Breaux, Nolan Breaux, Jeffrey Breaux, Donald Breaux and Richard Breaux; and five sisters, Olga B. Milstead, Marie Guillory, Theresa Broussard, Flo Anna Romero and Alina Bourque.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachary Breaux and the former Necie' Hebert; one grandson, Chase Broussard; and one brother, Larris Breaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
