Harvey Broussard

February 2, 1940 — July 11, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Paul Harvey Broussard, 70, who died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Barrett Broussard, Keith Luquette, Mike Luquette, Winston Broussard, Hunter Luquette and Hayden Luquette. Readers for the mass will be Chelsie Luquette and Brittany Guidry. The giftbearers will be Sydney Luquette and Randy and Wyatt Broussard.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lorraine LeMaire Broussard of Forked Island; one son, Col. Barrett Broussard of Fairfield, California; two daughters, Julianna B. and her husband, Keith Luquette of Perry and Dana B. and her husband Mike Luquette of Erath; one brother, Winston Broussard of Forked Island; and five grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden Luquette, both of Perry, Chelsie, Haley and Sydney Luquette, all of Erath.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovelace Broussard Sr. and the former Irene Harrington; and one brother, Lovelace Broussard Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 12, 2010 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 13, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
