Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Rodney Lewis Spence, 65, who died Monday, July 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

He is survived by wife, Lois Spence of Abbeville; two sons, Rodger L. Wilson and his wife Colleen and Dustin J. Robertson and his wife Veronica; two daughters, Carrie A. Rentz and her husband David and Nola Lopez and husband Barry; grandchildren, Christa Rentz, Lauryn Rentz, Ashlee Swenson and her husband Richard, Karisa Wilson, Heather Wilson, Heather Robertson, Shaye Robertson, Carter Robertson, Rodney Flyte, Ethan Lopez and Eric Lopez; and one great granddaughter, Allyah Swenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Spence and the former Velma Ardeneaux; and one sister, Linda Spence.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
