Ambrose Trahan Jr.

November 28, 1930 — July 17, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ambrose Trahan Jr., 79, who died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Gad Painter officiating the services.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Gary Trahan and Ted Reed Trahan, both of Kaplan; three daughters, Susan Broussard of Abbeville, Roxanna Trahan of Kaplan and Melissa Trahan of Kaplan; one sister, Lorraine Hebert of Kaplan; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Corey James Trahan; one son, Kenneth Wayne Trahan; one daughter, Lisa Ann Trahan; two brothers, Ivey Trahan and L.J. Trahan; one sister, Zora Trahan; and his parents, Ambrose Trahan Sr. and the former Nita Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 10 a.m. until services.
