Betty Menard Broussard

March 1, 1943 — July 24, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Betty Menard Broussard, 67, who died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Rost, Wade LeBlanc, Blake DeVille, Darrell Viator Jr., Chris Menard and Dwain Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Floyd Ardoin, Joe Trahan and John Breaux.

She is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Dr. J. Peverly Broussard of Kaplan; one son, William Paul DeVille and his wife,Karen M. of Lafayette; one daughter, Rebecca Ann DeVille of Carencro; one brother, Chris Oliver Menard of Carencro; and five grandchildren, Kimberly DeVille of Houston, Texas, Wade LeBlanc of Kaplan, Blake DeVille of Lafayette, Darrell J. Viator Jr. of Carencro and Kylie DeVille of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Menard and the former Willa Mae Hargrave; and her first husband, Russell Paul DeVille.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 27, from 10 a.m. until services.
