Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Chapel honoring the life of Mary Ann Mouton, 66, who died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.
She is survived by two daughters, Alisha Mouton (Tony Wallace) of Tyler, Texas and Janet Moss and her husband, Wayne of Maurice; one son, Russell Boudreaux of Opelousas; one brother, Elias Mouton Jr. of Kaplan; two sisters, Alma Bessard and her husband, Marion of Abbeville and Theresa Yeggins of Portland, Oregon; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias Mouton Sr. and the former Alphonsine Cola; her son, Demetrius Mouton; one grandson, Jaylon Moss; two sisters, Beatrice Shiloh and Anna Lou Romero; and one brother, John Mouton.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
