Audrey Mae Turner Harrington

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Audrey Mae Turner Harrington, 86, who died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Atlas J. Harrington, John C. Hebert, Natasha Hernandez, Joseph C. Hanks, Eddie J. Harrington Jr., Jeffery J. Harrington Jr., Ricky J. Harrington and Cody M. Hernandez, Honorary Pallbearers will be Don James Harrington, Phillip Joseph Hanks, Robert Joseph Schexnayder, Burke Joseph Hanks, and Jimmy Harrington.

She is survived by her two sons, Atlas J. Harrington of Breaux Bridge and Jeffery J. Harrington of Abbeville; four daughters, Barbara Harrington of Erath, Waldean H. Hopper of New York, Sarah H. Hebert of Abbeville and Meline H. Hernandez of Abbeville; 24 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Harrington; one son, Eddie Harrington; one daughter, Arma Harrington; one grandson, Xander Hernandez; her parents, Jean Turner and the former Meline Brookshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 p.m.
