Amelia Gaspard Hebert

December 29, 1923 — July 31, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Amelia Gaspard Hebert, 86, who died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnathan Hebert, Sleighton Hebert, Steven Hebert, Arnold Lemaire, Kevin Lemaire and Corey Lemaire.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanelle and her husband, Arnold Lemaire of Kaplan; her sister, Eulalie Trahan of Kaplan; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Hebert; her son, Dean Hebert; her daughter, Gale Bouillion; her parents, Pierre Gaspard and the former Emelia Menard; three brothers, Alphe, Augustave and Augustina Gaspard; and seven sisters, Edna Leonard, Clara Hebert, Cecile Mareaux, Sevelia Lege, Aurelia Harrington, Emelienne Lege and Augustine Hargrave.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, August 2, from 8 a.m. until services.
