Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Doris Rita Bergeron Hardy, 77, who died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Paul Hardy, Sr. of Abbeville and Randolph Guidry of Thibodaux; one daughter, Peggy Vidrine and her husband Al of Abbeville; two brothers, Clyde Bergeron and Donald Bergeron; three sisters, Mary Savoie, Delores Rogers and Rosemary Hebert; grandchildren, Stephanie Hardy, Anthony Hardy, Jr., Hunter Trahan, Ali Vidrine, Sandra Guidry, Louis E. Guidry, Randi Guidry, Randy Guidry, John Guidry and Eugene Guidry; and three great grandchildren, Kip Trahan, Emily Hardy and Rhett Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eaklen Joseph Hardy, Jr.; parents, Randolph Bergeron and the former Irma LeBlanc; one brother, Gerald Bergeron; and one sister, Loraine Rogers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at noon on Wednesday.
