Victor Allen Comeaux

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 22, 2006 at a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Victor "Allen" Comeaux, who died October 21, 2006 at his residence.
He was laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Pallbearers were Mark Sonnier, Tyler Sonnier, Jude St. Amant, Aaron Comeaux, David Comeaux and Todd Doucet.
Allen served in the United States Marine Corps and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Gussie Vice Comeaux of Abbeville; two daughters, Sarah Doucet and her husband Ernest Doucet of Abbeville and Charlotte Sonnier and her husband. Mark Sonnier of Jeanerette; two sons, Kenny Comeaux and his wife Denise of Abbeville and David Comeaux and his wife Teresa of Tuscon, Arizona; one brother, Woodley Comeaux of Lafayette; one sister, Doris Comeaux of Duson; nine grandchildren, Jude St. Amant, Tyler Sonnier, Maegen Connor, Martika Connor, Aaron Comeaux, Chad Trahan, Christy Marceaux, Chelly Comeaux and Lily Comeaux; and three great grandchildren, Brentin St. Amant, Bryson Sellers and Taelynn Sellers.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Comeaux; father, Lydia Comeaux; mother, Amenthe Hebert Comeaux; grandfather, Joseph Hebert; grandmother, Selima Baudoin Hebert; and two step sisters, Irene Comeaux Stoutes and Ruth Comeaux Fontenot.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, October 22nd from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
