Shirley H. Frederick

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Shirley H. Frederick, 68, who died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, A.J. Frederick of Kaplan; five sons, Jerry Frederick and his wife Sandra of Kaplan, Bobby Frederick and his wife Andrea of Kaplan, Tommy Frederick and his wife Yoshiko "YoYo" of Japan, Scotty Frederick and his wife Shannon of Denham Springs and Stoney Frederick and his wife Amy of Meaux; step-father, Policar Landry of Abbeville; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Easton Hardy and the former Evelyn Simon, one son, Russell John Frederick and three step-brothers, Dudley, Wilson and Eujean LeBlanc.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Friday, August 06, from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, August 07, from 8 a.m. until services.
