Ruby Mae Bourque Primeaux
March 9, 1929 — August 8, 2010
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services. Pallbearers include John Primeaux, Shane Venable, John Hanks, Bobby Aucoin, Jesse Bourque and Chad Lege. Honorary pallbearers include Collin Pedigo, Bob Lege and Tony Neal.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael LeBlanc and wife Cindy of Lafayette and Samuel Primeaux and wife Diane of Abbeville; two daughters, Cindy Bossley and husband Zeke of Abbeville and Nancy Guidry and husband Rudy of Henry; two sisters, Helen Bertrand of Abbeville and Bernice Hebert of New Iberia; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Primeaux; a son, Curtis Primeaux; parents, Jim Bourque and the former Bertha Dubois.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. DeLand, her nurse, Paula and all the staff at Onconlogics, Dr. Blanchet, Rebecca Donohue and their staff and everyone at Hospice of Acadiana.
