Kaplan—Services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Glenn Patrick Mire, 62, who died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Reverend Jim Girouard will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his brothers, Raymond Mire and his wife, Cindy of Kaplan and Donald Mire and his wife, Lorraine of Crowley; his sisters, Betty Broussard and Danielle and her husband, Charles Suire, all of Kaplan; sixteen nieces and nephews; twenty-three great nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces; and his good friends, Steve Vorhees and Ashley Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernadette Suire and Willis Mire; his niece, Dorie Suire; nephew, Will Mire; and brother-in-law, Merlin Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 9 a.m. until services that evening.
