Lillian Brasseaux Sellers
April 20, 1931 — August 13, 2010
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Kendall Faulk officiating services. Pallbearers will Clint Sonnier, Kirby Dubois, D.L. Brasseaux, Johnny Dubois, Presley Landry and Larry Dubois.
Lillian was a very loving and giving person to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by step son, Willard Harlan Sellers and his wife Carol of Austin, TX; step grandchildren, Kristen and Jeffery Sellers of Austin, TX; brother, Dallas Brasseaux and his wife Charlie Mae of Grand Lake; one aunt, Cecile Landry of Henry; a special person whom she considered a daughter, Janet Sonnier and her husband Clint and their children, Marisa and Maegan Sonnier and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Sellers; father, Moleon Brasseaux; mother, Elise Dubois Brasseaux; and sister, Mable Saucier.
A special thanks to her care givers, Farrel Lewis and Candy Briggs and friend, Althea Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed at noon on Monday.
