Louisette Hebert

August 23, 1914 — August 14, 2010

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 time pending at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Louisette Hebert, 95, who died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers include Roland Hebert, Carrol Hebert, Kendal Broussard, Benson Hebert, Duane Hebert and Harold Marceaux. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Roland Hebert and his wife Velma of Abbeville and Richard Hebert and his wife Noella of Kaplan; five daughters, Ruby Primeaux and her husband Pervis of Abbeville, Rosa Belle Stansbury and her husband Lyman of Abbeville, Shirley Broussard and her husband Paul "Piggy" of Abbeville, Rita Mae Marceaux and her husband Rixby of Kaplan and Rena Duhon and her husband Larry of Maurice; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Whitney Hebert, Jr.; parents, Abra and Louise Roache' Richard; two sons, Renis Hebert and Raymond Hebert; a grandson, Randy Primeaux; and her eleven siblings.

The family would like to thank all Mrs. Hebert’s sitters, Christine, Kathleen, Rochelle, Tracy, Jane, Mary, and Verena; Heart of Hospice staff especially, Stephanie, Shanda and Michaud.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Tuesday, August, 17, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
