Eddie Paul Saltzman

August 21, 1937 — September 3, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Eddie Paul Saltzman, 73, who died Friday, September 3, 2010 at West End Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Broussard Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ruby Saltzman of Kaplan; one daughter, Debra Palmer of Woodburn, Oregon; three brothers, Nelson Saltzman of Gueydan, Dalton Saltzman of Kaplan, Pierre "Pete" Saltzman of Carlos, Louisiana; one sister, Serina Saltzman of New Iberia; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre Saltzman and the former Emirta Adams, one son, Dexter Saltzman and three sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, September 6, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, September 07, from 8 a.m. until the procession will depart for the church.
