Dulas Touchet

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at an 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Dulas Touchet, 97, who died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Touchet, Derek Touchet, Carl Broussard, Cory Broussard, Jason Picard and Judd Picard.

He is survived by one son, Calvin Touchet and his wife Donna of Maurice; two daughters, Janelle T. Pennington of St. Augustine, FL and Gloria T. Broussard and her husband Ronald of Maurice; one brother, Emery J. "Joe" Touchet of Bay Town, TX; twelve granchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adley Bergeron Touchet; one daughter, Barbara Touchet; parents, Arthur Touchet and the former Lelia Theall; adoptive parents, Ovey and Cecile Broussard; one brother, Oscar Touchet; and sisters, Leda and Lilly Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
