ABBEVILLE- Funeral
services will be held at 10:00
a.m. Tuesday, November 07,
2006 at Vincent Funeral Home
honoring the life of Joseph Alton
Simon, 85, who died November
06, 2006 at his residence.
He will be laid to rest at St.
Paul Cemetery with Pastor
James Pruitt officiating the
services.
He was a veteran of the
United States Army who served
our country in Okinawa.
He is survived by his wife,
Marie Velma Simon; his children,
Donna Simon, Joseph A. Simon,
Jr., Jed A. Simon and his wife
Connie and Joyce S. Comeaux;
one sister, Edith Simon
Desormeaux; five grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by
his first wife, Thelma Istre
Simon; his parents, aden Simon
and the former Lucie Harrington;
one daughter, Pearl Simon
Stelly; five sisters and two
brothers.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Monday, November 6th from
5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; then
again on Tuesday, November
7th from 8:00 a.m. until time of
services.
