Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home -Kaplan honoring the life of Ronnie Lee Cormier, 60, who died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Amy L. Cormier of Kaplan; one daughter, Angelena C. Dupuis and her husband, Milton "J.D." Dupuis Jr. of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Dakota Lee Dupuis; two brothers, Jim Cormier and Clay Foster, both of Kaplan; and four sisters, Darlene Hoffpauir of Kaplan, Cheryl Hebert of Duson, Jacqueline and her husband, Kevin Vaughan of Lafayette and Hershal Allday of Abbeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Joseph Cormier and the former Lizzie Mae Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, September 27, from 8 a.m. until services.
