Funeral services will be held Wednesday Nov. 15, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Vincent Funeral Home in Abbeville, La. for Corey James Frederick, 29, who died Friday, November 10, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center of Lafayette. Interment will be in the Bancker Cemetery following a biker procession in which the family would like to invite all bikers to attend. The Rev. Jeff Ables will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his mother, Velva Jane Frederick of Abbeville; his father, Raymond Frederick of Abbeville; his maternal grandmother, Eugenia Davidson Klein of Abbeville; two brothers, Chad Frederick and Eric Frederick, both of Abbeville; a half-brother, Brett Frederick of Abbeville; a sister, Lanetta F. Cessac and her husband, Wade of Abbeville. Corey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph C. “J.C.” Frederick, his paternal grandparents, Augustine Frederick and Nola Guidry Frederick. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast that enjoyed riding his “Harley” whenever and wherever he could. He was a member of Road Dog Society, a former member of Cajun Harley Davidson Club and a former H.O.G. member. Corey was an aviation panel technician employed by ACI Bell Helicopters for the past seven years. Pallbearers will be Chad Frederick, Wade Cessac, Terry Delcambre, Randy Simon, Eric Frederick, Randy Lemoin, Danny Williams, Mike Kimball and Troy Frederick. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am on Tuesday until service time on Wednesday.
