Beverly Ann Meaux Istre

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Beverly Ann Istre, 72, who died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Raymond Istre of Kaplan; three sons, Deacon Timothy Istre and his wife, Jane of Bridge City, Texas, Thaddeus Istre and his wife, Melissa of Kaplan; and Ted Istre of Kaplan; two daughters, Tami and her husband, Christopher Vincent of Rockford, Ohio, Tonya and her husband, Michael Landry of Kaplan; six grandchildren, Colt Landry, Sumar Bland, Kristen Istre, Chance Istre, Kruz Landry and Justin Istre; two great grandchildren, John Paul Bland and Ashlynn Paige Landry; ten step- grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; and one step-great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Meaux and the former Ozitte Sonnier; three brothers, Emilton, Nedes and Edwin Mire; and one grandchild, Jacquetta Istre.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 pm; Friday, October 22, 2010 from 8:00 am until the procession departs for church.
