Sharon Clostio Hebert

December 22, 1954 — October 20, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Sharon Clostio Hebert, 55, who died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jimmie Hebert; her parents, Allen Paul Clostio and Gurdy Gaspard Clostio; three stepsons, Jonathan Hebert and wife Cindy, Damon Hebert and wife Theresa, and Jason Hebert and wife Shontelle; two stepdaughters, Shawn Hebert and companion Lee Richard and Jennifer Hebert Hotard and friend Raymond Broussard; two brothers, Steven Clostio and Troy Clostio and wife Kim; two sisters, Wanda Clostio and companion Bob Howard and Sandra Comeaux and husband Marc; one niece, Miranda Lynn Comeaux; one nephew, Ross Allen Comeaux; and six step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ulysses and Amanda Perry Clostio and Leonard and Cora Callahan Gaspard.

The family wishes to thank the many friends, neighbors and family for their acts of kindness and prayers during Sharon's illness. Special thanks to Dr. Karen Roden for her compassion; also Charlotte Trosclair and co-workers at the Vermilion Parish Library; and special cousin, Rene Dartez for helping through this journey.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 23, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
