Wavel Meaux Broussard

December 3, 1928 — November 21, 2006

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Church honoring the life of Wavel M. Broussard, 77, who died at her residence. She will be laid to rest in St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Christian Broussard, Colby Broussard, Cale Broussard, Marcus Broussard, Michael Broussard and Ryan LeBlanc.
She is survived by two sons, Dale Broussard and his wife Cheryl of Abbeville and Patrick Broussard and his wife Sharon of Maurice; one daughter, Cindy Broussard of Maurice; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bert Broussard; her parents, Ophie and Utez Vincent Meaux; and one grandson, Chase Broussard.
The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday, November 21, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Wednesday, novenber 22, from 8 a.m. until service time.
