Harry Lee Meyers

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, November 8, 2010 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church honoring the life of Harry Lee Meyers, 76, who died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at his sons residence. He will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Reverend Gregory Simeon officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Henry Meyers of Kaplan; two sons, H. Lee Meyers Jr. of Kaplan and David M. Meyers of Atlanta, Georgia; his daughter, Catherine Alice Mair and her husband Will of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Willa Mae Romero of Cade and Estelle Gaspard of New Iberia; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Meyers and the former Alice Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, November 8, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
