Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Annie Mae Poirrier, who died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Hanks Cemetery with Reverend Jason Vidrine officiating the services.

She is survived by by her parents, Travis Poirrier and Katie Thibodeaux Poirrier of Katy, TX; her sister, Addie Kay Poirrier of Katy, TX; her maternal great grandmother, Beulah T. Boullion of Gueydan; her maternal grandparents, Larry and Shirline Thibodeaux of Abbeville; her paternal grandparents, Eugene and Adele Poirrier of New Iberia; her godfather, Troy Poirrier of Rayne; her godmother, Keri Steele of Gainesville, FL; her uncles, Tony Poirrier of New Iberia and Matthew Thibodeaux of Lafayette; and her aunt, Tammy Poirrier of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Gilbert Boullion; her maternal great grandparents, Elias and Annie Mae Thibodeaux; and her paternal great grandparents, Ernest and Gussie Poirrier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 12:00PM until 9:00PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of services.
