Therese Bourque Bodin

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Therese Ellentil Bourque Bodin, 79, who died Monday, November 15, 2010 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Mausoleum with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Perry Broussard, Russell Huval, Andy Frederick, Lovess Hebert, Larry Hebert and Dennis LeMaire.

Therese was a parishioner of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church Parish were she was a member of Ladies Altar Society, Abbeville Lay Carmelites, and taught cathechism for more than 20 years. She was a member Maurice Spinning Wheels Homemakers.

She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Bodin; one son, Ronald Bodin and his wife, Nadine; one daughter, Jan Bodin; one sister, Beverly Nunez Lina of Covina, CA; three grandchildren, Troy Bodin, Tannar Guidry and Clay Bodin; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Hebert Nunez; father, Wilson Bourque; and two sisters, Beverly Ann Nunez and Mabel Bourque Boudreaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with rosaries to be prayed at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
