Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Lucille Eunice Trahan, 86, who died Friday, November 26, 2010 at Heritage Manor of Abbeville. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruby and her husband, David Pierce of Abbeville and Cheryl and her husband, Jimmie Guidry of Abbeville; one sister, Anna Mae Sellers of Abbeville; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulton J. Trahan; two sons, L.J. and Billy Trahan; three brothers, Roy, Curley and Raywood Landry; one grandson, John Hardy; one great grandson, Joshua Hardy; and her parents, Angeus Landry and the former Cecile Corner.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, November 27, from 8 a.m. until services.
