Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Ruby Breaux Lege, 76, who died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services.
She is survived by two sons, Max Lege and his wife, Debbie of Jackson and Kenny Lege and his wife, Ann of Abbeville; two daughters, Sue Lege of Abbeville and her special friend, Raywood "Bert" Bertrand and Ludie L. DeVoltz and her husband, Jimmy of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Jaron, Britt, Chelsea, Sean and his wife, Mandy, Courtney and her fiancee, James Wiggins, Claire, Laura and Katie; seven step-grandchildren, Crissi, Jay, Samantha, Kim, Neil, Ed and Kasha; seven great grandchildren, Caleb, Brycin, Bayne, Lylah, Luke, Layla, Pia and a great granddaughter expected in February; eleven step-great grandchildren, Hunter, Grant, Colby, Gage, Hannah, Hollie, Jasmine, Jed, Jacob, Taylor and Julie; brother, Elwood Breaux of Deridder;one sister, Oline Lloyd of Port Acres, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paulenar Lege; parents, Charles Breaux and Blanche Dartez Breaux; two brothers, Murphy Breaux and John "Chute" Breaux; and sister, Gladys LeMaire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
